A fun time was had by all at our 2007 Ferrets, Folks & Fun Fest!  Saturday, October 20 was the big day for hooman beans and weezils alike.  We enjoyed good eats, weezil romping fun with what seemed like hundreds of ferretsin the playpen, great shopping and silly contests and games.  Many thanks go out from us shelter folk to all our volunteers who helped the day run so smoothly, as well as all of our guests.  We sure hope you enjoyed the Fest and hope to see you next year!

And as you can see in the photo, the Fest sure was well attended this year.  Why, even Darth Vader and his cohorts made an appearance!  But the number of people seems to have paled in comparison to the number of weezils in attendance.  While we didn't get an official count, we're going with at least 897!  HA!  Well, maybe not that many...but it sure seemed like it!  It was terrific to see so many weezils frolicking about and having fun in the playpen.  And of course for the folks at MCF, its always so much fun to see our Shelter Alumni again!

Once again this year good friend of the Shelter Joey Long did a great job capturing the day on film!
