Motor City Ferrets 2008 Raffle

We at Motor City Ferrets were so pleased to once again have such a marvelous array of wonderful prizes in the Raffle this year, donated by many fine companies and generous individuals.  Why, the retail value of the Raffle prizes totaled well over $1,900.00!  

The winners were drawn on October 25, 2008 at our annual Ferrets, Folks & Fun Fest.  All the winners were present for the drawing save one; we saw that prize off to the lucky winner shortly after the Fest, so all this year's prizes have been claimed.  

Our fourth annual Raffle was our biggest fundraiser of the year, raising $1,000 for the Shelter!

Here it is folks, the cage you've heard about and noticed at the Shelter: The Ferret Nation! This cage has two doors for each section and they open like cabinet doors, allowing complete access to the interior space. Each level has a full plastic pan and each shelf has a solid surface insert, so your critters have solid flooring throughout. With a platinum gray hammertone finish and black plastic flooring, the cage really is the latest in weezil style. This cage is easily split into two, in case you have older ferrets that can't handle a large cage or single ferrets that need their own home. The cage also has a storage shelf beneath (perfect for a storage box full of supplies) and casters so you can move the cage easily. You can also add yet another level to this cage for the ultimate ferret palace!

Similar to the Ferret Nation (just a wee bit smaller and setup a bit differently) you and your ferrets will love The Feisty Ferret Home! This cage features two full swing doors (one on each level, with the other door fixed in place), double lock latches that even the cleverest weezil can't open, a pull out bottom pan, a bottom storage shelf and heavy-duty casters that make the cage easy to move around. The cage is finished in stylish black hammertone and is easy to assemble. The cage originally comes with a wire middle floor, but the folks at the Shelter have added a piece of commercial grade, heavy duty vinyl flooring to give your ferrets a solid surface for the second level. This cage also easily converts to two cages, should you happen to need a cage for a single or nursing weezil!
