2011 Ferrets, Folks & Fun Fest Presented by Motor City Ferrets Saturday, 12 November
2011 Fun for the entire ferret-loving family! |

* Free Admission /
parking - why, the entire day is free! :) *** Social ferrets are welcome to play with the gang and enter the contests and games. We'll have the WeezilPen (ferret-proof playpen chock full o' amusements) setup and ready to go for all of the weezil sort who wish to socialize. Please make sure your ferrets enjoy playing with others, are in good health (playing with so many friends can really stress the aged or infirm), are up to date on their shots for Rabies & Distemper and are "safe" around people - in other words, no chompers as we'll have lots of kids around! Please also bring a collar or harness for your critter (extras will be available at the Supply Shoppe for $3). If you're not sure what your critter might think of hanging out with so many friends, schedule a play date at the shelter or bring portable housing (fully equipped carrier or travel cage) for your critter(s) to hang out in during the day. |

And
don't miss our Annual Raffle!
We are so pleased to once again have a marvelous array of wonderful prizes in the Raffle this year, donated by many fine companies and generous individuals. We'll have dozens of Raffle Prizes, ranging from over $500 in gift certificates to your favorite local restaurants, ferret stuff GALORE, and even a new Ferret Nation cage! Why, the retail value of the Raffle prizes totals well over $2,000! Our seventh annual Raffle will be our our biggest fundraiser of the year and tickets will only be available at the Fest, so we hope you'll join us for the day and consider playing in the Raffle to help all the critters at the Shelter! |

Please note: The Center has two buildings, one at the front and one at the back of the lot. Next to the front building is the parking lot you'll use - note the lot in the photo behind the trees, with cars parked at right. The Fest will be held in the rear building, notice the dark area which is the entrance. If the lot is full, simply head over to one of the other businesses on the street and park, as the shops surrounding the Center are closed on the weekends. If you have any trouble finding the place, call Shelter Mom Nanci (248.219.9023) or Shelter Dad Alex (734.693.4819). The Fest is always a great event for ferret lovers, whether you bring your ferrets or not. Either way we hope to see you there! |
